Dynamic light scattering (DLS) technology is a non-invasive, fast and accurate way to measure the size of nanoparticles. The principle is based on the Brownian motion of particles in liquids. When laser light strikes these particles, the Brownian motion of the particles causes the frequency of the scattered light to shift. This frequency shift causes changes in scattered light intensity over time, which can be used to analyze particle size. Specifically, due to the fast Brownian motion of small particles, the scattered light intensity changes rapidly; while for large particles, the scattered light intensity changes relatively slowly due to the slow movement speed. By measuring and analyzing these changes in scattered light intensity, we can accurately determine the size of the particles.
